QUALITY & STANDARDS OFFICER
The post holder will be based in DELTA SERVICES CARLOW 3 DAYS per week
and C?IRDEAS SERVICES TULLOW, 2 DAYS per week. The purpose of the
role is to support & implement the quality agenda regarding DAY
SERVICES and the related duties in both service locations in
accordance with the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
The post holder must address gaps in the continuous quality
improvement process, and further implement the person cantered
planning framework across all DELTA CENTRE & C?IRDEAS SERVICE
locations. He/she will report to the Chief Executive, Quality
Committee &/or equivalent on quality matters specific to each service.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* A relevant 3rd Level/QQI qualification (minimum level 7) in:-Health
or Social Care, and/or a field related to Health & Social Care and/or
an area related to quality service improvement.
* Have 5 years? experience in the delivery of services to people
with intellectual disability and working as part of a team in
Disability Services.
* Be experienced in administration & competent in MS Office package
as required to complete the administrative duties of this post (ECDL
Qualification is desirable)
* Possess significant experience developing and supporting the
implementation of Person-centred Planning as relevant to the role.
* Possess experience developing, implementing, delivering and
evaluating service improvement and/or quality initiatives, as relevant
to the role.
* A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence is required
